A Valentine for My Daughter

A Valentine for My Daughter

Chi Nguyen ·

This Valentine's Day, I've gotten something special for my daughter that I'm sure she'll love. I have several items to give as a birthday present to my six-year old daughter, but none of them can compare to her presence. I'm currently in the closet with the gifts, and while she almost caught me one time while I was doing the 'birthday haul', I'm still trying to hide it until her special day. My sister's birthday falls the day before Valentine's Day and she usually doesn't get a lot of presents. That's why I put together a small 'goodie bag' for her. I recently purchased a small, soft plush rose from the Dollar Tree store. Stephanie has enough stuffed animals, so I thought she could use something different but still cute - a pink rose that could be wrapped around things. Earlier, I had shared with you guys my Dollar Tree haul. Here's a look at the items I got - they are quite pocket-friendly and worth checking out! Bejeweled offers a range of accessories, such as this headband and nine hair clips, to complete my daughter's outfit. now Stocking fillers for special occasions such as Valentine's Day and Christmas need to be carefully chosen. I try to find items which not only bring joy but also have a practical use. I make sure that my daughter doesn't have too much junk, so the choices are thoughtfully made. I recently purchased a set of hair ties to go with the headband and hair clips. Recently, I bought a word search puzzle book at Dollar Tree - it was level one and perfect for my daughter's age. I thought now would be the perfect opportunity for her to start doing them. I recently purchased a Barbie Coloring Book for my daughter who loves the franchise. It contains various activities such as word searches, coloring, connecting dots, counting, and adorable drawings that she can fill with color. Recently, I've come across two books that I had put away in the past. These books were part of a collection my family acquired from Dollar Tree. Additionally, they all have been bringing in new books that I haven't seen yet. Although we are celebrating Valentine's Day and not Halloween, my daughter is a huge fan of the Toy Story franchise. I was able to find a great deal on a Toy Story of Terror book - I got it from the Dollar Tree for just one dollar, even though it typically retails for three ninety-nine. It also has stickers included in the back. We recently watched the movie 'The Boxtrolls' on a streaming platform like Netflix or Hulu. It has been a great experience for my daughter as they are learning to read and this has been very beneficial in their learning journey. Recently, I found the book "Meet the Boxtrolls" that cost me only $3.99 from the Dollar Tree store. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and in order to make it special, I decided to get a couple of necessary items. After looking through them, I ended up getting two of these candy sticks and couldn't pass up on the third one; I found it very adorable. This delightful gift features a charming owl and contains an array of tasty chocolates in various shades of pink, purple, and red. It's the perfect way to show someone that you think they're a hoot! During the 2020s, enchanting chocolate boxes with unicorns have become the latest trend amongst young girls. This has become quite popular amongst them. On my last visit to the Dollar Tree, I purchased a bag of ring pops which I then divided among my daughter and other relatives. For Valentine's Day, I plan to give two gifts to my daughter and two to her cousins, who are also my nephews. I was saying that the total cost of the items I purchased on Valentine Street amounted to $8.50. However, due to additional items, the final amount came up to $9.50 which was still quite affordable. I hope everyone has a wonderful night and a joyful Valentine's Day, no matter what part of the world you might be in.
